Awesome Kid Video for The Penderwicks!

So, Nancy and I spent all week crying because no one guessed our first Mystery Book correctly. We wept for ourselves because we wouldn’t have a winner to name in our podcast, but we also shed tears for you — yes, YOU — because that means you’ve never read The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. And that is truly a crying shame.

But you don’t have to take our word for it! Check out this amazing kid-produced video that I stumbled across, dedicated to The Penderwicks:

My favorite part is where Rosalind is burning the cookies. She looks like she could live in that oven! HILARIOUS!

Major props to Margaret (I think that’s what she says at the beginning of the video) for putting this together. Truly amazing. And though I hate to admit it, almost as good as the Mystery Book Theater video that Nancy and I made. But only almost. =P
