From Page to Pumpkin: Happy Halloween!

October 30th, 2009 by

Just in time for tomorrow’s festivities, here’s a round-up of pumpkins all gussied up in book-based costumes.

Disclaimer: I discovered all of these masterpieces on the wondrous World Wide Web and didn’t do any of them myself. If you saw my drawing in our Where the Wild Things Are review video, then you know why I don’t even attempt these things…

Do you like this pumpkin friend?
I saved it for the very end.
So realistic, it’s about to meow.
See ya later, gonna eat some candy now!

My favorite is the Cheshire Cat. But is that Sirius Black or Professor Snape there?

@Nancy: It’s gotta be Sirius! Snape definitely does not have that wild mane of hair. (Yes, I do have a little crush on Gary Oldman, who plays Sirius in the HP3 movie.)
