I recommend this book because it’s like Harriet Tubman is talking about her life in her own words. Harriet was a slave. She got separated from her family when she was only three years old. She was so strong whenever her slave owners had company, they would show off her strength. I could not get this book out of my hands and neither will you! If you like excitement and history this is the book for you!

I would say that it shocked me to think that the aargvee cost of a slave is just $90. Wow! If it weren’t for the fact that it wouldn’t make the people stop using slaves, I would think that we could get a bunch of people to buy slaves’ freedom. $90 a year isn’t that big of a deal.
