Among The Hidden by Margret Peterson Haddix is about a boy who is a third child who has to hide all his life. There is a goverment rule. If the goverment searches your house for a third child and finds them the third child would have to be killed.

Let me tell you about the book, he was a third child and hides all his life. He always dreamed about what it would be like to be free from his house.

A few days later he got out of the house and broke in to a girls house across the street and saw her and got tackled to the ground. When he saw her he thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen besides his mom and became friends with her. I truly recommend this book if you love mystery and about the goverment also violence I hope you read this book and like it as much as I did!
