Breadwinner Review
The Breadwinner is about Parvana, her family and Parvana’s friends. Her father gets caught for a long time.Parvana and her friends later sell cigarettes.
The author has a very imaginative thing that wants to tell everyone in the whole world that there are girls and women that don’t get treated the way boys and men get. They get treated like maids and the boys and men get to tell them anything, and they have to do it. The boys and men are just like kings but the girls and women are just like servants. Girls can’t get anything except what their men give them is ragged clothes.
I found the book very thoughtful and interesting, mysteries were fully revealed and very detailed descriptions common words make you want to read more of the Breadwinner Book. The Breadwinner is for grade Four and five and up because it shows violet real life scenarios in the Breadwinner. The taliban are some sort of extreme religious group.
