The Breadwinner is a book that Deborah Ellis wrote, and also the breadwinner is about a girl who lives in Afghanistan with her family. Parvana has to struggle living with violence against people, human rights, lack of egalitarianism and double standard. Parvana has 3 siblings an older sister named Nooria, a younger sister named Mariam and the youngest brother named Ali. Being the breadwinner means a lot to Parvana.
The author is using action in the middle of the book. The author does a very good job of making me feel like i was there because i just always picture what is happening. The main characters are very believable because all of that happend to my friend’s mom’s sister.I like the author’s writing style because the author uses juicy words and descriptive words.
I found the book interesting because the people in the book were really believable and the speeches were awesome.I liked this book because I Never read a book like this and also this book was really interesting.I would recommend this book for who are rich just so they can have a feeling to how to feel like if people are poor and i think people who are 7 and older can also read this book.
