“His son searched him, took the crust of bread, and began to devour it.” The person who was being searched was beaten to death by his own son because he was so desperate for food. In Night by Elie Wiesel, Elie had to face those conditions of starvation. He was a Holocaust survivor who went to Auschwitz Birkenau. You should read this book because it tells about the terrible conditions in the concentration camps. Also, Elie tells about what he had to do to survive the Holocaust.
