My Breadwinner book Review
By:Patrick
The Breadwinner is a book about war in kabul Afghanistan. Parvana the main character. She has to dress up as a boy to buy food for her family and make money. Why does Parvana dress up as a boy because her dad is gone and girls can not go outside and the other boy is to young. It is up to Parvana to make the money and get the food for her family.
Parvana has friends with her like Homa and Shauzia. If I could pick the rating I would say 11+ or 10+. This book has some violent things like arms getting chopped off and digging up human bones. There are more booksto this book like Parvanas journey, mud city, and my name is Parvana.
The violent parts could have been better because she put in to much descriptive words. A good part in this book is when Parvana made friends with one of her sisters that did not like her. I think the next book is great because I am reading it now but that would be on my next book review.
