The genre in this book is realistic because the book is telling about some parts of Afghanistan. Kabal is a part outside of Afghanistan and there is bad people called the Taliban.
The author writing is good because there is a lot of juicy words in a chapter. Nooria did not jest say be quiet she said shut-up.
I found the book sad because the taliban was doing bad things and was hurting the people bad and broke into people houses. I like the book because Parvana looked after her family.Parvana had to cut her hair and dress up as a boy.
