The Bread Winner
The Bread Winner is a realistic and historical book and a bit of drama. There is a young girl named Parvana. Parvana the protagonist and her family have bin through a lot of stress and terror. This book gets very Horrible! Parvana and her family’s Dad was put in jail because he was egecated. The names in the family are, Ali, Parvana, Nooria, Shazia, Mother, Father. The setting is in Afghanistan in the town of Kabul.
All the people are living under the Taliban rule! My mom acts a lot like mother because my mom when she is depressed she lays on the bed and sleeps or cry’s. I loved the descriptive words in this book! The main character’s are bealevibal, because of the way they all act.
I did not like the violence or the blood. I would recommend this book to 13 +, because of all the violence!
