Rating: ★★★★½

Kasienka just moved to the city of Stansted, with her mother from Gdansk Glowny. Right away Kasienka knows she doesn’t fit in. At school she is “Cassie” (this happened because the teacher couldn’t pronounce her name right) and she isn’t very happy at all at school or at her new “home”. The only thing that brightens Kasienka day is William, the most handsome boy she has ever seen. I definitely recommend The Weight of Water for anyone who likes a beautiful prose book.
