This has got to be one of the best books I’ve ever read! Calico Girl is about an African American girl at the beginning of the civil war. It’s interesting though because Callie (short for callistia, and the main character) is technically the niece of the plantation owner’s wife. Callies father had the same father as the wife, Catherine, but she didn’t have the same mother, and she was white. Callie is technically free, but she still lives on the plantation, up until the plantation owner goes to fight in the civil war. Callie’s father, Hampton is assigned to take care of the plantation and the family that lives there, but then he stumbles hears about a Union fort that will take care of escapees from the South. He then takes his own family to live there, but the future remains uncertain. Will the plantation owner come back? If so, will he find Callie and her family?
Read the book to find out.

Forever or a Long, Long Time was a wonderful, amazing read! It tells the story of Flora and Julian, two adopted children. In this story they both learn that love is never divided, only multiplied. This is a beautiful story that will make you burst out in tears or be smiling your heart out. It is a amazing story that I would reccomend to everyone ages 10+

This is a great book about a girl, Cammie, that is a spy. She may be a spy but she is still a girl and goes through the same “boy” trouble as all girls do. There are these boys that have come to their school for a semester from a boys spy school. Cammie and her friends think these boys are no good. They go undercover to get the truth but they can’t believe what the really found.

This is a great book for kids. It talk about problems that parents sometimes have a hard time talking about. This book also shows real problems and what we might face or have to deal with as we get older. We all face hard times in our lives and the book shows a girls story and how she copes and deals with it.

It’s a easy book to read and it’s good but there was something about it that I didn’t like. It was no where near as good as The Crossover.

Wow amazing !! One of my favorite parts was when lunch lady used her mighty powers ! Yes I loved those parts I recommend this to graphic novel fans and kids who are adventurer but I don’t recommend this to teens I think they will say to kidish but anyone should give it a try !! Its mainly about lunch lady and the breakfast kids looking toward to a relaxing vacation but who wouldn’t ? Well unfortunately there is a swap monster!!! yikes!!! But lunch lady and the breakfast kids Dee,Hector, and Terrence must all fight against the secret enemy . 😁😁 I rank this book a 5 star it grabs my attention and I her can’t put down the book and I love this fantastic book also it is soooo adventurer . Lastly read this book !! Thanks soon much for reading this review
