In the book rules by Cythia Lord there are many happy and sad parts. This book is very heartfelt and very interesting to read. The book rules is named rules because Cathrine tries to teach David rules on what not to do and what to do. I love this book because it’s about an autistic boy. This boys name is David. David’s older sister Cathrine just wants to have a normal life, which she thinks is nearly imposible with a brother with autism, and a family that revolves around him. Cathrine begins to notice what is happening. This means in her mind her life has started to revolve around him too. I can connect to this because my mom was a teacher who taught kids with autism, and I used to go with her, so I have been around people with autism alot. I recomend to anyone who likes books with caring people, and also to people that like books that are by Cynthia Lord.
