Little House On The Prairie, by Laura Ingalls Wilder, takes you back to when settlers where arriving in America. This greatly detailed book tells how they did things long ago, what they ate, how they traveled, and much, much more. You will find it interesting what it would be like if you were a settler in colonial times. Since there was no technology or as many helpful things we have now, they face many challenges. In some way, they always find some solution. I encourage you to read this amazingly detailed book because of the great way the author told this true, colonial times story.

I can say that this has been my favorite book! It has been an exciting book, with a lot of adventure. So if you like adventure you will love this book!!!

This book is about a boy who is willing to fight for his life because the goverment says you can only have 2 children but he is a 3rd child. You want to know why they can only have 2 cildren? Want to know if he wins and gets to be a free 3rd child? Read the book and find out!

Lone Wolf is a very exciting book and it is written by Kathryn Lasky. The author really gets into the book and some parts are sad, but I would recommend this book to lots of people. The book Lone Wolf is about a wolf cub that was born with a splayed paw and a spiral pattern on his foot. The poor little wolf was taken away from his mother to die because of this blemish. The Obea took him and tossed him on a piece of ice so when it melted he would fall in the river and drown. When the piece of ice broke, poor Faolan was tossed down the river but luckily a bear named Thunderheart rescued him. He lives with her for awhile but then it’s time for Thunderheart to hibernate. Faolan goes to hunt and Thunderheart wakes up. She decides to look for him. What will happen? Later on Faolan felt an earthquake, and Thunderheart has still not returned… Read this book to find out just what happens to Faolan and Thunderheart!

I read Lone Wolf and it’s all about a wolf pup who has a splayed paw and he is left to die, but a grizzly comes and saves his life. She raises him as her own, but when the winter comes, she has to hibernate. They get separated and the pup is all on his own. It’s very dangerous and he has no one to protect him. He is determined to find out his story and where he came from. He goes on a great journey to find his destiny. No one knows where the pup is, not even himself. Will he make it, or will he die? Will the animals that he cherishes be ok? Read the book to find out what happens to this crippled pup!

When I first started this book I thought, what galaxy is this? Why you ask? Because you’re only supposed to have two children. The main kid, Luke, has 2 brothers, Matthew and Mark. Luke liked to play in the woods because he’s hidden. But they chopped it down for baron’s [rich people]. One day he looks out the window and sees an unusual face when all the barons leave. You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens!

In this exciting novel it starts of as a mother wolf looking for a birthing den and when the cub is born it has a deformed paw. I have not gotten really far in this book but I already love it. If you want to find more read the book!!!!!!!!!!!

Once there was a boy named,Luke. He was a third child, but the only promblem was nobody was allowed to have a third child. One day Luke saw a unfamiliar face in the window across the street. A few days later he went to the house where he saw the face. There he met a girl named Jen who was also a third child. Jen was aginst the population law. What will they do now? This book is amazing!

Among the Hidden is about a boy named Luke Garner he is a third child and in his land each family can only have two children. One day the woods in his backyard get cut down for some rich Barons. The Barons needed land to build their houses. One day Luke sees another child’s face in a window of one of the new houses. He wanted to find out who it was,so one day he decided to go and investigate. The child was another third child named Jen she wanted to get out of hidding so she was going to have a riot with alot of other third children. Read the book to see if the riot is a success. This is a wonderful and mysterious book. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

I read a book called Among The Hidden, written by Margaret Peterson Haddix. This book is a really good book. The main charitors are Jen and Luke. The government made a law that you can only have 2 children and you were not allowed to have a third or more children because the people are afraid they will run out of food. So, Luke is a third child and he already has two brothers named Mathew and Mark. His mom even wanted another son named John (get it, Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John. The books of the Bible) But after she had heard the food was scarce and you could not have a third child she got worried and already had been hiding Luke, because she did not get to have John. Luke used to get to play in their woods but the government needed their woods for some rich families named Barons. But now he can not. All of a sudden in the book this guy that’s working to build the Barons house said, “Do you have any air-conditioning?” And Luke’s dad said, “No do you think we are rich?” And the guy went away. After that Luke’s dad started hiding him more than usual. If you want to know more, you will have to read ALL the series! By the way, sorry for leaving you hanging!

Will Luke find out? Find out if he does or not. I recommend this book because it has a lot of sad and surprising things too. I hope you read this book because its really going to get into you!
