Frindle is about a boy who makes up a word Frindle. He uses the word for pen. His teacher doesn’t like them saying the word Frindle. So she makes whoever says it stay after school. Read to find out the rest.

I read this book last year. The book is about a kid named Nick Allan who likes to get teachers do fun stuff during the school day. Like one time he made a beach party! But this year he is in 5th grade, when he start doing periods, his ELA teacher, Mrs. Granger, teaches how words are formed, Nick decides to call a pen, frindle. How long can Nick keep the word?
