I like this book. It’s about Laura’s family moving from the big woods to a prairie. Their wagon goes in a creek and they forgot their dog Jack. If you read it, you’ll know it’s a good book. I have all of the other books in a case.
Our latest podcast, in brief: Karen compliments herself. Nancy insults Karen. Karen insults herself. Nancy makes her case. Book recommendations. Karen gets hungry.
Now, who wouldn’t want to hear all that? Only an idiot, that’s who! Or somebody with better things to do… But why not take a listen since you’re already here?
And don’t forget: write in with a book review below. We’ll feature a kid review in our next podcast!

Little House On The Prairie, by Laura Ingalls Wilder, takes you back to when settlers where arriving in America. This greatly detailed book tells how they did things long ago, what they ate, how they traveled, and much, much more. You will find it interesting what it would be like if you were a settler in colonial times. Since there was no technology or as many helpful things we have now, they face many challenges. In some way, they always find some solution. I encourage you to read this amazingly detailed book because of the great way the author told this true, colonial times story.

Laura and Mary are leaving the big woods. But when they hit a high creek jack the family dog has to swim and gets side swept by a current. When he tries to come back Pa almost shoots him. That is all i will tell you, so go read it for yourself!
