I am reading a book called Lone Wolf, by Kathryn Lasky. The book is sofar about A mama bear, who finds a baby pup(baby wolf) and is trying to raise it all alone. I think it would be difficult to raise someone or and animal that is not your type. Well, the mama bear, witch is called Thunderheart, calls the pup, Folan because, Fao ment both river( That’s were she found him) and wolf. Lan meant gift. So she was saying, She found him at the river, he’s a wolf, and he’s a gift. So, she has to teach him to be agressive and catch real meat instead of drinking her milk. Later in the book, but before part 2, he’s learning really well. The bear is not used to raising a pup when it is not as big as a cub.( Baby bear) So what is she going to do with that small little pup? If you just read more and more of Lone Wolf, you might as well read the whole series. It is both, sad and happy, but you are going to have to read it.
