Out of My Mind is an AWESOME book! The main characters are Melody, Mom, Dad, and Penny. Melody is eleven, she has a photographic memory, which means when or wherever Melody is, it’s like she is a video camera that is always recording. And in her mind there is no delete button. Melody is the smartest kid in her whole school but no one knows it because she can’t walk, talk, or even write. Melody’s dream is to find a way to communicate. Being stuck in her head is making Melody go out of her mind. Then Melody finds out something awesome….

Out of My Mind is a moving book about a girl named Melody who can’t speak or move. She goes to a school, but is in a class for children with disabilities. Then, her class is allowed a chance to go to a real classroom, and with the help of a machine that talks for her, she proves to everyone that she is not stupid like everybody thinks, when in fact, she is one of the smartest people in her grade. She is chosen to be on the quiz team: a huge honor, but faces many challenges because of her disability. Fans of Wonder will love this book.

This book is about a girl named melody.She is almost 11 years old.She has never talked,walked or done anything else without somebody`s help
My favorite part of the book is when she gets to talk through her wheelchair for the first time ever
I recommend this book to anyone who likes surprise`s and miracles.

Out of My Mind was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to read it again and again! So, I don’t want to give the book away (NO SPOILERS) but I will tell you one thing a girl named Melody (the main character) has a disease which is important to remember when reading. Now that I ‘ve covered the story, let’s get to the writing. It was amazing! I was bawling my eyes out. I would suggest this book for 10 and up because it is so sad.
