I think the book is very interesting to other kids who like horses. The horse grows as Lidie does in the story.

I like this book because it is about a girl who loves to ride but was afraid to tell her dad after she moved in with him because her mom died. This book is also about the girls brother who is a jockey and he is going to do his first race soon. I think this book is good for boys and girls who like horses.

Loved it. Great sequel to Nory Ryan’s Song. Love historical fiction. If you’ve read Nory Ryan’s Song, and you liked it, then you’ll love this one.

I had never even heard of the famine that took place in Ireland about 1845- 1852. I now know when it took place, where it took place, how it happened, and some of the beliefs from then. Being a fan of 1 Direction, I know a bit of Irish history. I never knew about this Great Famine until the local librarian recommended this book. Everyone seems to know what kind of books I like, and this was definitely one book that blew me away.
