Ephesus Library

Still beautiful after nearly 2000 years! The library of Celsus, also known as the Ephesus library, was built in 135 A.D., and scrolls of manuscripts were kept in niches on the walls. The library could hold more than 12,000 scrolls. Not bad for the ancient Greeks!
