I love Lauren Barnholdt’s books. They’re a combination of humor, 6-12 grade romances. I love his book because it shows a lot of Devon’s thoughts and has just enough description (not to little to leave you hanging but not enough to bore you).

I won’t give away to much but I’ll tell you my favorite characters and describe them in a few words.
Devon – Devon is a laid-back, 7th grader who is constantly the two “men” in her life.
Lexi – Lexi is totally boy crazy and is into everyone else’s business. She is fun, girly, and occasionally clueless
Luke – Luke is a tall, smart teen boy who sees inner, not outer beauty.
