This book is in diary form of a perspective of a Metis in Batoche at the time of The Battle of Batoche. The main charater, Josephine Bouvier, writes a diary that his grandfather, Moushoom gave to her on new years day. It talks about her life and what else was going on and of course, The Battle of Batoche.
The part I like about this book was when later on in Josephine’s life she getsher mother’s watch back.
The part I didn’t like was to learn that most of the events in the book are true.
I give it 4.5 because ov erall it was a good book but, the author could had put in more description.
