Do you like fantasy? Do you like sword fighting? If you do this book is for you! This book is about how a boy realizes he is the son of a god. He then goes off to a camp where he is very unique because of his godly parent. He then trains to go off on a quest to return a lightning bolt to Zeus along with 2 other campers. My favorite part was when they got trapped in a hotel that sped up time inside the hotel so that if you were in their for a month it could be a year. I recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy, sword fighting and adventures.

Percy Jackson is son of the Greek God Poseiden, and of a human. This makes him half god (a.k.a demigod). This book is an adventure in which he and his friends- Grover and Annabeth- team up to stop the so- called Lightning Thief. I reccomend this book to anyone 8+.
