This book is great! Gabrielle is German citizen. Gabrelle has a passion for books. She absolutely loves them. When Nazi’s start to do things to them she isn’t liking it. Read this book to figure out what happens where her family goes to get out of this place!

Ashes by Kathryn laskey is about a girl named Gabriella and she Is living during the Holocaust in 1933 through 1934 where the Holocaust Is just staring with hitler becoming chancellor and when the nazis are fort coming into power. I love this book and I recomend that you read it.

Ashes is about a girl living during the Holocaust. She isn’t Jewish, but she isn’t a Nazi. She attends school and is treated differently because her parents aren’t Nazis. It was a awesome book.
