Scar Island is about boys who have been sent to a “prison” for committing some sort of crime. Johnathan Grisby is sent there for something terrible. This book is amazing. I would recommend it to almost anyone. Defiantly read this book.

Some kind of courage is a awesome book that you need to put on your bucket list! It is about a boy named joeseph who’s family died. And he is being took care of by a cruel man. The man sold his horse, the only thing he loved. He is on a mission to find her. And along the way he meets a Chinese boy named Ah-Kee and they don’t speak the same language but some how they get along very well. They are both looking for something of their own. Will they both find what they’re looking for?

Some Kind of Courage is an amazing book that you have to read! In some kind of Courage Joseph has lost just about everyone in his family. Except his dad and his horse Sarah. Until he loses his dad in a accident. Now he has to live with his alcoholic neighbor Mr Grissom. Who ends up selling all Joseph has left his horse Sarah. Now Joseph is on a journey to find Sarah.
