Divergent is an awesome book. If you like dystopian action books you will love Divergent. It is action packed and totally mind blowing. The whole Divergent series is ok but Divergent itself was much better, in my mind. During the book the main character changes, for better or worse, read the book to find out! Do not worry the main character, Tris, stays a good person even throughout her shifting personality. Tris is a shy girl who changes to become not so shy. All in all, Divergent is a great book, funny and daring, it is amazing!

Can you imagine a world separated into factions?
The factions are Abnegation, Dauntless, Amity, Erudite, and Candor for factions.
This girl Beatrice Prior is going to the choosing ceremony to pick a faction. To help you pick a faction you take a test which involves a shot of serum. You go through a series of mazes. At the end (when you wake up) they tell you which faction you get. You can only get one faction but there is also a way to get all kinds of factions. DIVERGENT is the name. It is very dangerous.
So Beatrice Prior has to make a decision to stay with her family or to leave her family. Her choice will shock herself and her family.
If you like action,death,mysterious secrets around every corner,and teen love, this book would be great for you.

Can you imagine being Divergent and Jeanie and guards hunting you down and you getting into a big war and half of your new friends will get hurt or die?
Well that is exactly what happens to Tris and Four. They go on a long journey to stay alive and not let Jeanie kill or find them!! There are 5 factions, Dauntless, Abnegation, Amity, Erudite, and Candor.These factions change her life forever because one choice can destroy you!

Amazing!! One of the best series EVER!! I read the last one, Allegiant, for a paper, and to be honest, it was a little slower. And !!!!WARNING!!!! YOU MAY NEED A FEW TISSUES AT THE END!!!! So sad!!

Divergent is a really good novel. It is the best book i have ever read too. Divergent is really hard to put down, and has cliff hangers at the end of every chapter. It is about Tris, well thats what her new name is. She chose the faction of Dauntless and she has a relationship with one of the Dauntless trainers, Four ( Tobias ) . When one of the fractions start to rebel, Tris and Four have to fight back, and save each other. Divergent to me is the best book ever.

Divergent is one of the best books I’ve ever read. It is VERY suspenseful, and when you think you’ve predicted something, there is a huge twist! I do not recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books with humor, you will find none in this book.
