Pop quiz! Match each character with their own personal bully:
Even though some villains are certainly interesting, they are ultimately bullies. You may have heard that this week is No Name-Calling Week, which was actually inspired by the novel The Misfits by James Howe*. No one should ever feel the way Hermione felt when Draco called her a Mudblood!
Since we’re in the middle of No Name-Calling Week, I thought I’d highlight some books about bullying:
Books Recommended By Other Kids
- Schooled by Gordon Korman, reviewed by Jenna
- How to be Rude! by Jessica Blair, reviewed by Scotty
- Brand New Emily by Ginger Rue, reviewed by Alexis
- Call Me Hope by Gretchen Olson, reviewed by Baylee
Books Recommended by Karen & Nancy
And some books that WE love and KIDS love, too! We all have amazing taste. *high five!*

Nancy thinks that Dolores Umbridge, Queen of the Bullies, was actually more evil than Lord Voldemort. *shudders* We all need a Patronus to ward off thoughts of Umbridge!
*James Howe, author of the Bunnicula series!
